this is interesting but we move too slow, and im having to fight an enemy literally every second on the dot. i tried it 3 times and havent been able to save all the people even after visiting every location too

there needs to be some indication of how each tower works prior to building them, or at least a sell function. i built an air tower which literally just shoots away from the path every time and i cant remove it. the game is alright but if im going to be honest i lost interest because there are so many other TDs out there that dont have these issues. there are definitely aspects of the game i think were well done too, we just need some better tool tips and a sell function

When you have a tower selected to build the info panel at the top right does have information but i agree its not clear enough. you can select and rotate the tower. thanks for the feedback i plan to make a lot of improvements for a sequel

this is my second time trying to play in two days, because i wanted to make sure i wasnt missing something. concept, graphics, gameplay, music, etc all seem great, but every time i get past the locked door and the girl asks me to hit the switch, im unable to move. id really like to play the rest of this. a previous review mentioned that this only happens if i click the phone, but it happens every time regardless. ill come back again soon to see if its been fixed, and will possibly change my score then.

We might try to fix the bugs later on if we have time. Thank you for the honest review.

now that theres a little tutorial the game makes much more sense.
i noticed that the cave right next to musiktown (apparently there are 2 musiktowns) has a really quick infinite gold exploit - u can just walk in and out of the dungeon and keep grabbing the 3 chests inside the door over and over.
unused items dont seem to be going to my inventory, and its a bit tedious to see whats in a certain slot before buying the new item. once i had a fully equipped character this didnt matter, and it wasnt too hard to farm for gold, but i think i should be able to sell or reuse my old gear.
squad movement seemed pretty inefficient, so ive actually found the game easier to win with one unit instead. a lot of the time all my units would be stuck behind the one in front, and it was difficult to control which unit stayed there. basically everyone besides my warrior died quickly and i found that they werent doing much to help in the first place once they were gone
im enjoying the game a lot more now, though.

Thanks. Glad you enjoy it more now.

EDIT 12-10-Oct:
Music Loops Added
Health bars for enemies added
Clarity surrounding the blacksmith interface added.
Dungeons variable size (some smaller but not too small)

Thank you for playing the game. The feedback is noted-some of your points I can answer immediately others require work from my end to address.

The blacksmith does have goods-interface thing, you have to select the appropriate inventory slot first for relevant goods to show.

There is a light tutorial that displays some of this through the menu option marked tutorial at the beginning.

Yes the hire screen could use some work.

The idea I had was that the player would grind and level up in the non named dungeons ie non quest dungeons before attempting to defeat the skeleton captain but I can see from my stats most people are attempting to defeat him first up.

The dungeons non named ones scale to the level of the party in terms of danger and are random before their first visit.

There is no music or sound deliberately but I would have liked to have imcluded some if I could find any I liked.

Thank you again for playing. You are the first gamer to give me feedback so that is helpful.

i like it but it was very difficult to find the pathway into the forest and i really think we should be able to go back once we have walked into a new area, bcus once i found out i could actually leave the first area i accidentally skipped parts of some of the next ones because i assumed id be able to return. the game is cute and interesting though.

Thank you for the feedback :)

great game. i have only 2 small complaints: when we meet wizards + gnomes itd be really great for them not to disappear. often i want their bonuses but simply wont need them until i fight a bit more. the other thing is that the crit sound effect gets to be a bit abrasive during the cutscenes. its fine for combat but i felt like just using a different sound for when the screen shakes would make the experience a little more pleasant

Thanks for your feedback, I think you might be right, I'll keep your advice in mind for my future projects! :)

seems rly fun and generally has a lot of attention to detail. its running very slowly though and just after fighting scarra the wasd controls inexplicably stopped working. i hadnt realized there was mouse based movement as well so i spent like 5 straight minutes thinking a cinematic was just lagging while they walked around his room

BigBossErndog responds:

Yeah Keyboard controls for some reason is severely broken in some browsers, that’s why I didn’t reference them in the instructions. Would much prefer people stuck to the mouse controls to avoid this. Thanks for playing!

this is just 2 rectangles in a green square and then an endless white void. i tried refreshing but ur game seems to not be working my friend. also the buttons at the start menu were extremely tiny.

ConnorJca02 responds:

well its kinda just a test to see if i can upload and the next update will have a full level and moving enemies. health and levels with be after that. this my first rpg using construct so please be patient. thanks for your input :)

this seems appealing and i like the music but these controls are terrible! u should just use z and x for accept/back, and we should be able to use arrow keys as well as wasd, and if you want to set the controls up fps style then you may as well just let us use the mouse to select options?? the spider probably shouldnt be attacking me while i try to read the controls either, but i guess you wanted it to be unfair. i got tired of it pretty fast just because of how unwieldy the keymapping is and how obfuscating the lack of explanations is. there should be a tutorial battle at least so we can learn whats going on before the combat begins

great game! i wish maybe there were some simple items at least too, but i like the format so far. u could make lots of sequels to this!!
