it seems really cool but during the character creation i pressed backspace to delete the name and it went back a page, so i had to reload the game. load time was a bit long, too. (playing on chrome idk if that makes a difference)
because i cant see anything about the characters when i first select them, and the names arent memorable to me yet, it was pretty frustrating getting the game started with the character i wanted. i understand this is in beta, but tbh my wifi isnt always as fast as it is tonight and most of the time i wouldnt have given it a 2nd (or 3rd) shot when it took me back like 4 pages lol... anyways. it's not the end of the world.
sometimes the shop menu wouldnt let me equip items and i had to switch to a different area to get it to respond.
i cant find any indication of where my skills or feats or whatever are. items say "medium armor mastery" or whatever other mastery and i dont know if i have it because there's no mention of it anywhere else that i can find
i literally didnt see any enemies whatsoever and then died all of a sudden and it was like ok u gained a level. i had looked at the log cus i heard a few noises and had opened various doors but seen nothing but a statue and more doors/hallways. this looks like it could be really fun and i like the feel of it but its not much fun when im just being attacked by invisible enemies until i die.
i hope u get it working better. good luck

Thanks for your feedback, I'm going to have a look into the issues you mentioned.

A lot of people have talked about the 'invisible monsters' as the monsters are only seen in the info window at the top of the game and not in the actual dungeon. I realize this is quite confusing, and I'm working on a fix for this, but it's quite a big change to make.

Appreciate you giving Endurance a go and leaving some very helpful feedback. I've made a note each point and will look into them.

edit: the backspace problem should be fixed now so long as the game has focus.

this could be really good with a little work. as it is, i think too much of the puzzles rely on dying over and over again until you understand that particular level, whereas i think a more gradual learning curve might be a better route. i think a lot of the puzzles are best solved by fully analyzing the networks of mirrors/enemies, and that's a cool idea but it would be much better if only we had a way of zooming out. there is a lot of basic geometry implicit in this game, but that stuff is very hard to predict when we cant see the whole level. the blocks and actors are big enough that i think the game would be better off if we could see 2-3x as much at a time as we can see now. i think i could bring up "N" as a good example. the graphics dont need to be complex, and they really arent too complex as they are here. we can still get through all these puzzles without seeing the entire level all at once, but i think it'd be a lot more fun if we could see a bit more.

seems cool. there are a few issues with pathing, tho. when i click to the other side of a wall i run directly into the wall. this makes sense if i hadnt explored the path to that area, but it happens so commonly when im just like... on the wrong side of a pillar or something that the cons outweigh the pros. think about tweaking this a little bit. i know the click to move mechanic can be abused to find new areas or w/e with one click, but it really doesnt come up enough in this game that you'd need to make the movement a direct line as the crow flies.

visually i like what you're doing, but it seems like it needs a lot of work. there were a lot of little plants and things that just made platforming irritating instead of challenging, and i assume the coins were supposed to do something (cus they didnt??)
the whole idea of the colorful backgrounds and dance music plus a basic run n gun platformer is cool, tho. maybe think about adding some more sparkles or random shiny achievements that make us feel special, too.
also i died at one point from an enemy and the game froze up instead of respawning me. if i only had a limited number of lives you should consider making that a little more clear because i see that you said "restart or dont die" or w/e but i definitely respawned multiple times before this happened.
also, i really think it's a good idea to allow for WASD and spacebar for shooting, cus most people do not have a keyboard where arrow keys and enter are comfortable settings.
this was fun, tho. i hope to see a more polished version soon

mouse and arrow keys?????? k to continue??? what in the frick? ur giving me arthritis. how many arms do you have??!?!? srsly do you have 4 arms??? because i only have 2 arms.
there is nothing wrong with mouse and A-D, space or click to continue.. im just not rly sure how this control scheme could have seemed even remotely appealing

other than really wishing i could grow more arms now, this seems like an OK game. i just feel like im playing twister on my keyboard right now tho. i had a little bit of fun but found that the difficulty scaled from laughably easy to impossibly hard without any kind of gradient, and that the upgrades offered didnt have enough explanation to make me want to buy any of them.

this was cool for about 3 minutes despite the weird control scheme and then it just fell apart IMO

ok like... ive played 3 of these games now. how can these possibly be rated well when every single version of the game is broken and glitchy? im not just sitting here quitting after one failure, im playing these levels for 10-20 mins and still being unable to complete them. you make games for english users that have poor translation and absolutely zero explanation of who the target is on many levels, and yet they still get good ratings because you've made the sound and imagery look good. these games are literally ALL broken. im saying this as someone who has played through all of them on multiple browsers, found them incredibly appealing and fun, and then met with some ridiculous game breaking glitch after the 3rd or 4th level in every single game. can you please stop making new carbon copies of this game and actually fix it first??? this is just ridiculous...

hey guy

this is amusing in a certain way, but i wish there was some measure of strategy. it's just a cycle of "click click click hideout buy matches click click click" and its basically impossible to lose except for when buying upgrades, which doesnt really make that much sense.

anyways i had fun. i see you made it pretty quickly, so no gripes here with the lack of depth. maybe think about making a sequel with a few more tweaks and additions?

suggestions for possible sequel:

-make certain buildings require more matches or give more points

-allow fire to spread and give rewards for combos

-cops could move from building to building as you click (just light the windows up with blue and red or something), and clicking that building would increase their presence or cause a game over

-instead of ending the game when we run out of matches, allow the player to break into buildings to forage for them, also increasing police presence, but not destroying the building.

-add more items like a lighter or a blowtorch or eventually bombs, or whatever. these could all have different pros and cons like burning a larger area, reducing points gained but destroying buildings faster, or having one or multiple uses per item, and could be acquired by looting or at the shop.

this is way too difficult IMO and it should not start so abruptly. i thought i was watching the opening credits or something
