fun, but the menus are a headache to navigate and you cant see which item slots are full while you're in the store or compapre them to what you already have without switching back and forth

helgravis responds:

Hmm, you bring up a good point. Yeah, that does feel like a hassle. I probably should have playtested it with more people before releasing the game. Anyways, thanks for the feedback.

its fine but i feel like you could give us a chance to fight the virus or at least explain we're gonna have to redo the whole level if it touches us?? maybe at least have the bolts already collected? idk i dont have the patience to play thru the level again when i already backtracked several times to make sure i got everything/ check out what all the switches did, only to end up being cornered because i spent like 30 extra seconds trying to sshoot an enemy that was flying too high up to shoot at first (maybe allow us to shoot upwards???).
i think it'd be fine for the game to work like this so long as you have a few simple introductory levels to show the player what each block or unit does, or at least let you know you're being chased by something instead of just playing that music??

WayneAdams responds:

really good points. thanks dude.

what am i supposed to do??? like at least give me instructions besides letting me click and having the bike break??? is there a goal im going for? a video walkthrough offers no help either? im sure the game is fine and all but when u dont offer any kind of explanation or instruction its incredibly offputting. seriously at least tell me something

one level was frustratingly difficult, but otherwise it was a good experience. music and concept were cool. the only real issue that i had was that the little purple goomba things wouldnt die near the beginning, so i didnt realize until later taht i could jump on them. i tried to kill the first couple i saw and they killed me when i landed on top of them. not sure if i was just landing at exactly the wrong angle, but it ended up working after a few levels. great game overall

hexdie responds:

Thanks for the feedback! I tried to make it clear that they could be killed, maybe I could've done a better job showing that. I'm glad you enjoyed it anyway!

why do these people constantly have to shit i made a bathroom on every floor and they just keep saying they have to shit

this seems like a good game, but it doesnt seem to give the player much of a chance. the supplies run out far too fast, and i've been unable to beat the game after 3 or 4 tries making frugal decisions the whole time... i always ran out of food or fuel. i'd like it if the game gave me more of a chance to actually use the stats ive picked out, instead of just 5 or 6 encounters which may or may not involve using any of my chosen stats to my advantage and generally have a negative outcome... it felt too static and didnt give me a drive to keep playing until i won, because there wasnt much strategy involved when it came down to it.

interesting concept, but overly tedious. think about allowing the character to walk as well??? small movements were incredibly frustrating at times

needs a "sell all" button, as well as the ability to select how much you sell at once so that you can free cargo space in order to get the right minerals for each recipe. the upgrades should not be so expensive initially, as it makes the game move too slow. you should be able to stop mining for coal and less valuable ores at your own discretion, because they fill the cargo bay much too fast and arent worth anything later in the game. furthermore, it doesnt make any sense for the upgrades to cost different minerals. they should cost money and maybe some iron, but you have no iron. the game began to lag excessively after i reached about 15km. since there is no drawback in upgrading your equipment, it seems strange that you'd make us unequip and then delete the previous part, instead of just changing it out as soon as the upgrade was purchased??? its nice to see the depth but when i cant access the stores from down there it seems kind of pointless to make the player scroll back and forth, especially when it seems to just be more of the same down there. this game isnt majorly flawed, but it could use a lot of work

aoblouk responds:

You can unlock a sell all feature from golden chests. At certain depths there are hidden features such as at depth 50, chests, and later battles so scrolling is a necessary feature.

you really need a mute option or a skip button for the intro cinematic (the music was abrasive and not very good), and it as well as the move speed and the text when speaking to other characters moves gruelingly slow... i almost didn't keep playing, but the high ratings in the reviews (on the first page) convinced me to keep it up. unfortunately, i couldnt figure out where to go to get my suit despite checking every room i could find, and the slow speed became increasingly irritating as the game went on... does it really need to move at such a crawl? i gave up after about 10 mins of walking back and forth with no progress whatsoever or any objects or people to interact with... it sounded interesting, but i simply dont have the patience for this.

UnrealCanine responds:

you can skip the intro by selecting load chapter 2 by pressing D on the menu screen. To get the suit head down, left at the T-junction, head into the locker room and press the button on the wall

this looks like its ok and i like the concept/music (chloroform jokes r always on point), but it simply wouldnt run on my computer. i could barely walk because i'd always skip across the screen in 1 frame. this is a new pc so im not sure what the issue is, but i immediately got stuck before even leaving the first screen... i guess ill try again later :(
